About Me

I'm Eliott! Like a lot of kids, I grew up chasing frogs and snakes in Indiana. I rediscovered my love for the outdoors as an adult at the Marine Corps Mountain Warfare Training Center in 2011. After getting out, I've spent my time looking for the world's wildest places. I picked up photography in 2015 with a Nikon D3300 kit while I was on the road doing outside sales. Since then, I've moved to the Nikon D850 and most recently the Nikon Z7. I have a strong background in commercial lifestyle photography for the outdoors and tactical consumer markets, but my true passion has always been the wilderness and the wildlife in it.

Join me here for my travels big and small. Get ahead of the curve by learning from my beginner's mistakes and years of outdoors adventure travel as a wildlife photographer and vacation tips blogger. Hopefully, you'll enjoy some of the photos and videos from the journeys. You can always find them at www.eliottkroll.com.
